Our Neighbourhood In Bloom

Celebrating Gardens, Building Community — We’re Growing It Together!

Our Neighbourhood in Bloom is a new, collaborative yard recognition program designed to keep the tradition of garden recognition thriving in Edmonton—one bloom at a time! Led by the Edmonton Horticultural Society (EHS) in partnership with participating Community Leagues, this initiative empowers local communities to celebrate the vibrant green spaces around them.

Each participating Community League leads the effort within their own neighbourhood, delivering the version of the program that best suits their community. Throughout the process, each League receives dedicated support, a comprehensive program delivery toolkit, and program supplies from EHS.

By celebrating local gardens, Our Neighbourhood in Bloom helps:

  • Increase neighbourhood pride
  • Strengthen resident connections
  • Provide volunteer opportunities
  • Showcase local people, innovation, and creativity
