Lay the groundwork for gardening with less pain, followed by a guided tour of the EHS Gardens!
Join EHS for an in person fitness workshop where you’ll learn exercises designed to help you build the strength, stability and mobility needed to garden with less pain. The workshop will take place outdoors near the EHS Garden beside the Muttart Conservatory and will be limited to 25 people. To save your spot, please register here.
The workshop will guide participants through a beginner friendly warmup, workout and cooldown based on stabilization and muscular endurance training principles. Attendees will then have an opportunity to enjoy planting, and tour activities. Participants will use a weighted plant pot they can use as resistance.
Afterwards staff will help participants plant the pot to take home alongside a workout handout with the exercises from the workshop. The event will conclude with a garden tour led by either an EHS staff member or volunteer.
