Edmonton Horticultural Society and Moira MacKinnon of Love & Fantasy Florals are excited to put on a great 2 hour workshop on fall bulbs. We’ll learn all the basics of fall bulbs and will get to take some bulbs home after the session! There will be lots of time for questions after Moira shares her wealth of knowledge with us.

- Basics of Fall Bulb Planting
- Soil Health
- A Few Favourites (Tulips, Alliums, Daffodils, Dutch Iris)
- Harvesting and Conditioning
You’ll leave with:
- Fall bulbs to plant in your garden
- Printed notes of the presentation

More about Moira
Moira Mackinnon is a farmer and florist operating on Treaty 6 land based in Edmonton, Alberta. Moira has been growing cut flowers at her suburban home since 2017, and has participated in various flower industry events in New Jersey and New York City. This year, she is working to build the Cooperative Flower Network towards the goal of opening a local wholesale cut flower market. Moira takes a holistic approach to farming and floristry, and implements sustainable practices from soil to vase.
