A fitness workshop designed to reduce pain in the garden, followed by a guided tour of the EHS gardens!
Join EHS for an in person fitness workshop to learn exercises that will help you garden with less pain in the future. The workshop will take place outdoors at the EHS gardens beside the Muttart Conservatory with a maximum participant capacity of 25 people.
The workshop will include a warmup, workout, cooldown, planting, and tour activities. Participants will have a weighted plant pot to act as resistance, after the workout participants will pot a plant to take home. Alongside the plant, participants will also receive workout handout with the exercises from the workshop. The final activity will include a garden tour lead by either an EHS staff member or volunteer.
