About Dr. Evans:
Dr. Ieuan Evans is a renowned forensic plant pathologist, agronomic diagnostic consultant, and micronutrient specialist, and is noted world-wide for his research on dozens of hardy fruit trees for the Canadian Prairies. He is truly the “Johnny Appleseed” Plant Breeder of Alberta, and is focused on extreme cold hardy and disease resistant edible fruiting trees and shrubs. He is also a well-known lily breeder and expert on martagon lilies. Beyond his professional work, he’s known for his contributions to the agricultural community, including educating farmers on crop nutrition and disease control, and for his passion for horticulture.
