About the EHS

The Edmonton Horticultural Society (EHS) is a volunteer-run, non-profit society where Edmonton gardeners of all skill levels and interests can learn, share and grow. Since 1909, our activities have supported our members’ needs, interests and gardening enjoyment and contributed to the beauty of our communities.
We offer a range of activities for members and the general public, including:
- Exciting and interesting speakers
- Plant exchanges and sales
- Garden tours
- Opportunities to learn through volunteering
- Gardening information and inspiration through our events, our website, our active Facebook page and Instagram
Members receive a regular, emailed news update, discounts at many gardening-related retailers, free admission to our Speaker Nights , discounts on EHS workshops and exclusive access to open gardens.
The EHS Board
The EHS is governed and managed by a dedicated, volunteer Board of Directors, which meets monthly. Board terms are two years. Contact the EHS Board by email (select General Information) or by leaving a message at 780-456-3324.
