Volunteer with the Newsletter

The EHS newsletter, Gardener’s Gate, is full of information on gardening in Edmonton and celebrates EHS gardeners and events.

Under the direction of the Communications Director, this position is great for a person or team interested in writing, creativity and communication. Experience not necessarily required. This is a year-round, active position.

The Newsletter Editor/Team’s duties include:

• Newsletter content: planning, collecting, editing
• Newsletter policies: deadlines, editorial, advertising and other policies and procedures (upon Board approval)
• Newsletter design and layout
• Newsletter publication (currently online only)
• Newsletter distribution (currently online only)

Other volunteers required:

The newsletter editor is always interested in receiving gardening news, views, stories and photos from members.
