His original plant collector’s garden is the centerpiece of this site. \nMeet our talented artists at the 11th Annual Art in the Garden Show and Sale. We have activities for all ages!\n• Take a guided tour of the historic farmstead and garden\n• Play some lawn games\n• Explore the deep forest on the nature trail\n• Enjoy live cello music\n• Solve the clues on a scavenger hunt\n• Create your own piece of art with a button press\n• Have your face painted\n• Learn about the many ways our ag producers farm in Lac Ste. Anne County \nBring a picnic lunch and spread out under the shade of your favourite tree. Delight your taste buds with hot or cold beverages from Mugshot Coffee’s food truck\, along with Maverick’s Donuts delectable works of art. \nAlberta Open Farm Days is a collaborative\, province-wide\, two-day event that gives Albertans an opportunity to experience the farm and understand where their food comes from. SUMMARY:Tea in the Garden
DESCRIPTION:The historic George Pegg Botanic Garden is hosting a delightful afternoon tea featuring assorted treats and select teas. Enjoy the music of cellist Birch Nero. Take a guided tour of the garden. People of all ages are welcome; this is the perfect day to bring a friend! There is open air seating as well as under cover in case of hot or wet weather. Our washrooms are wheelchair accessible and there are grass paths throughout the Garden. We always have a nature craft for creative children. \nTickets are $15 per person. Please book by July 19. Payment by e-transfer to PeggBotanicGarden@gmail.com. All proceeds go to the non-profit George Pegg Botanic Garden Society. Maximum 50 seats
