There are so many terms associated with seed saving it can be a little overwhelming but don’t worry, Winston from the Edmonton Horticultural Society will demystify it all! Winston will lead you through the basics and some of the common pitfalls of seed saving for gardeners at the home scale. He will go over the easiest types of plants to start with, ones to avoid, hand pollination, seed storage, and even some fun plant breeding project you can easily do at home! This interactive session of learning including a question period and start your adventure to successful seed saving at home.
