A virus has broken out and turned most of the human race into zombies. Gardeners were selectively saved, which scientists (who are also gardeners) believe has something to do with the protective microbes in the soil we gardeners love to play in. Talented and funny speakers will discuss how to garden and survive in this hypothetical future.
- Dustin Bajer is a permaculture expert who will teach us about food forests, sometimes involving zombies helping out.
- Morgan Webb (630 CHED Garden Radio Host) is using his horticultural knowledge to share what plants can be used to survive this zombie apocalypse.
- Paul Zammit (Toronto Botanic Garden) is a designer who is embracing his dark side to talk about the beauty of decomposition.
Costumes welcome but not required. Which side will you choose: ‘apocalyptic gardener’ or ‘garden zombie’?
