COVID-19 has affected us all deeply. It is clear that in the best interest of the EHS community and members we need to postpone or cancel all in-person events until further notice. We feel this precautionary step is necessary to protect our most vulnerable members during the pandemic.

Gardening is a fantastic way to get outside, create beauty, and grow food, and  it has exploded in popularity in the last year. More people than ever are enjoying gardens and house plants. We think this is wonderful.

To encourage more gardeners, we’ve moved our Speaker Series online, using Zoom, and we hope you’ll join us to hear the amazing and inspirational speakers we have lined up. When we can offer events like Open Gardens in a safe, physically-distanced manner, we’ll do so. All the information on upcoming events from EHS will be on our Events Calendar. Check it regularly for updates!

EHS encourages you to call or reach out friends or family who may need support during this difficult time. While following recommendations for physical distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic is important, maintaining social connections is more important than ever.

We hope you find joy in your garden.

Sincerely,
Edmonton Horticultural Society
